We woke up excited for all the exploring we were about to do. Its good to have a nice breakfast before a long day of hiking and we started off the day right! After breakfast we headed to Grant’s Grove in King’s Canyon

we discovered Lake Hume is a wonderful place to spend a whole day (too bad we didnt have a whole day)

our neighbor Loren, a German on a 6-week vacation road trip thru the US. We invited him & his girlfriend Kristina to dinner

Loren loved smores so much that he roasted 5 marshmallows at once

he wrapped them with chocolate in a tortilla instead, and he exclaimed, "I love America!"

What a grand job of taking pictures. You did even better than the ones you took in Ireland. Keep it up.
